Improving your services
We regularly consult with our patients to gather views on how we are performing and what we can do to make things better.
Feedback shows that patients want better facilities, reduced waiting times, increased access to services and more choice – choice of treatment, choice of hospital and choice of appointment time.
So here at Oldham, we are introducing these through local and national initiatives to make sure we meet the needs of our local communities.
We are improving the infrastructure, with £100 million invested to modernise Oldham’s healthcare facilities. A network of community healthcare facilities will be created that are fit for the future, will increase the quality of care and reduce your waiting times for treatment.
In partnership with other agencies, such as the council, we are also extending the range of facilities available in the heart of your communities to provide local choice for local people.
