Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services

Healthy Young Minds Oldham offers specialist services to children and young people up to age 18 who are experiencing mental health and emotional wellbeing difficulties, and provides support to their families/carers.

Some of the problems Health Young Minds support include:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Psychosis
  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
  • Self-harm
  • ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder)
  • ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder)
  • More complex psychological difficulties

The team is multi-disciplinary, with clinicians come from a range of clinical and professional backgrounds. This includes psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, psychologists and many others.

The Community Eating Disorders Service provides dedicated care and support to children and young people with an eating disorder.

It can also offer advice and support to families, carers and anyone who works with a child or young person.
