The walk-in centre based at the Integrated Care Centre (ICC) on New Radcliffe Street remains closed until further notice to protect patients, staff and public. The ICC remains open and now houses a COVID Assessment Hub, which is open 8am until 8pm 7 days a week cares for patients with potential COVID-19 symptoms. It also houses an Urgent Care Hub which provides support to Oldham Care Homes and accepts patients who are referred from NHS111 and healthcare professionals, including Accident & Emergency, with non COVID-19 care needs where appropriate. Both services are by appointment only following a referral from a healthcare professional or NHS111. Further details can be found here.

Coronavirus: accessing primary care

If you have symptoms associated with coronavirus including a new continuous cough and a high temperature, please do not book a GP appointment or attend your GP practice.
If your symptoms are serious, or get worse, NHS 111 has an online coronavirus service that can tell you if you need further medical help and advise you what to do. Only call 111 if advised to do so by the online service or if you can't go online.
All of Oldham’s GP practices remain open but how you access them may be different. Patients may be triaged remotely before face-to-face appointments. This means the practice will want to speak with you before you attend.
