As part of our ongoing commitment to improving the way we engage with our service users, carers and patients in Oldham we are running an ongoing survey on how we can improve our engagement work with you to ensure we hear and give opportunity for people from all of Oldham's diverse communities to share their thoughts on local healthcare designs.
You can access the survey here (External Website).
We asked: Do you have a suggestion for how we can involve our local communities in conversations better?
You said: More social media and online chat please!
What we did: We created a new Facebook page to share information, news and events, and increased our time spent engaging with people on the platform
We asked: How would you like to receive information about Health Services in Oldham?
You said: We want more use of email, social media and videos
What we did: we have invested time promoting our Health Huddle. People who join the Huddle receive regular email updates with invites to focus groups, panel opportunities and links to surveys.
We increased our social media presence and have made more use of accessible video clips. For example; in the Oldham Cares Big Conversation, in our winter campaigns such as Flu and Winter Warriors, and as part of our Share For You patient group to share our presentations.
